FounderSAbigail Craig • Recognizing not every family is an outdoor family, she recruited her mom to help launch Sonoma Venture Crew 16. Somewhat envious of her brother's Boy Scouts adventures, she wanted an opportunity to share outdoor activities with like-minded girls.
Along with her mom, Abigail approached the Rotary Club and Boy Scout Troop 16 to help launch the Venture Crew in 2014. Sara Craig • As someone who loves pursuing her passion, making new friends and discovering the world, Sara has been instrumental - along with her daughter Abigail - in launching and sustaining Venture Crew 16 during the past five years.
A compassionate visionary, Sara has launched several ventures that focus on quality of life. At home in the wine country, she is an unsung hero in her cherished community of Sonoma. |
